PREVIEW OF THE DERBIES

The International Break Has Officially Ended. Club Football had returned. There is a lot to unpack from the 2 biggest fixtures this upcoming weekend. NORTH LONDON DERBY Combined XI This will be the 192nd league meeting between the two giants. Spurs are looking to extend their unbeaten run and Arsenal are looking to end it. Giving a recipe for a great match. Arterta's Baby Armies have been fantastic this season and the signings have settled in quickly with Gabby Jesus providing a great outlet to play through. Zinchenko removes most of the defensive burden from Granit Xhaka making the team better at defending transitions.(He should start when fit) Fabio Viera had a great display against Brentford but I don't expect him to start.  Gabby Jesus celebrates against Brentford. Arsenal Probable Starting XI PLAYER TO WATCH : GABRIEL MARTINELLI Martinelli celebrates after scoring against A.F.C Bournemouth. The best LW in the league this season. He has been on great form and this game mi...

WORST SIGNINGS XI

The transfer window has officially ended. Oh My, Oh My we are in for some shockers. This moves are some of the worst for both player & club. GOALKEEPER : NETO - BOURNEMOUTH There was not a lot of goalkeeper signings & he just happens to be one of the worst. Going from Barca's number 2 to Mark Traver's understudy is not an ideal situation for the Brazilian as he left for game time . He could have just stayed at Barca and added more titles to his catalogue. Not much to say about this. CENTRE BACK : KALIDOU KOULIBALY - CHELSEA I could have picked his teammate Wesley Fofana but he represents something for the long term & is a better fit stylistically despite the £10 million pound overpayment. After losing arguably their best defender in Antonio Rudiger. The West Londoners were expected to splash the cash. Rudiger was not only their best defender but a leader & a joy in the dressing room. Chelsea had to replace his aggression, ball carrying & his versatility a...

WHAT WOULD CONSTITUTE A GOOD SEASON FOR BARCELONA?

A poor start to the season led to the sacking of Ronald Koeman & the sacking proved to be crucial. Barca legend Xavi Hernandez was appointed & The Catalan Giants took some huge strides. Xavi successfully launched his style of play & improved most of the existing players which in turn gave better results. Barca faltered at the final games of the season but It was a great 6 months for Barca. Xavi's work hasn't gone unnoticed as a plethora of signings arrived in Catalunya. ANALYZING BARCA'S IN'S Barca have bought a world-class goalscorer in Robert Lewandowski who will help Barca convert more of their chances. There might be question marks on whether Lewandowski is the right signing but I fully expect him to carry on his good form.  Robert Lewandowski Barca also bought a near world class winger who will not only compete with Dembele but make sure they do not lose quality when Xavi rotates. Raphina might not match Dembele's assist tally but he is definitely ou...

5 Possible Ronaldo Replacements

With Cristiano Ronaldo set to leave, United are going to need attacking reinforcement on their already thin attacking options. While it's highly unlikely that they sign a striker.Even if they do, It will likely be late in the window. United have looked at their best when a focal point was used upfront but with the striker market highly inflated. It will be difficult to find one since the good ones are very expensive & the cheap ones carry too much risk. I have looked at a whole host of attackers and saw the ones that carry little risk and are within Unitied's price range:[£55 million]  I have separated them into 5 categories they could look at. 1. Forward option already at the club 2. Premier League Proven 3. Great Fit but Very Unlikely 4. Second Striker/False 9 5. High Risk,High Reward 1.FORWARD OPTION AT THE CLUB THE RETURN OF ANTHONY MARTIAL Since Ronaldo was never a stylistic fit, it came as no surprise that the output of the other attackers diminished. If Ten Hag want...
